What figures can be made from vegetables. Beautiful crafts from vegetables and fruits. Crafts from radish vegetable

Every autumn, thematic exhibitions under the general title “Gifts of Autumn” are held in kindergartens and primary schools. And the main characters in them are crafts made from vegetables and fruits.

  • Flowers and animals using carving technique (not to be confused with)

Bell pepper frogs

You can also cut flowers from vegetables and fruits. A sharp knife and our master class will help.

Master class “Bouquet of pepper tulips”

The flowers turn out to be very authentic, especially after 12 hours - the wilted petals close, closing around the centers. But this does not spoil the view.

Photo after 12 hours

To work you will need:

  • fleshy bell pepper - yellow and red
  • cherry tomatoes - small and even
  • barbecue sticks
  • squash (for base)
  • vase - ours is woven from paper tubes
  • mug
  • red cabbage leaves, green hot peppers and viburnum sprigs - for decoration
  • tapeplant

Using a sharp, short knife, we cut out the peaks on the pepper, trying to ensure that both halves are neat and go to work. We wash one part, where the testes are, in water, removing the seeds and core. This can be done by hand.

Now we place the flowers on a skewer, leaving 2 cm in the middle for attaching tomatoes. We tape the stem.

The side without the base of the pepper is very soft and can quickly slide down the stem. We make a support at the bottom - we reinforce the top with electrical tape, and then on top of it - green tape.

We put a small squash into the mug - this is the basis for the bouquet. You can also use a small pumpkin or green zucchini for the vase.

We set up the bouquet. We decorate it with cabbage leaves, viburnum branches, and green hot peppers.

Crafts with added decorative elements

You can add decor from other materials to vegetables and fruits: plasticine, foamiran, feathers, material, as well as beads, buttons, berries.

This is how potato piglets appear:

Pumpkin fashionista:

Watermelons and pumpkins make wonderful samovars, teapots, flower vases, clocks and funny Halloween masks.

And “Cross” offers you another master class.

Master class “The Wise Turtle”

Tortilla doesn't need any introduction. This is a famous character from the work “The Golden Key”, whom all readers love. The turtle is a symbol of wisdom, so we will make a fairy-tale hero.

We will need:

  • half a head of cabbage
  • large dark green cucumbers (without pimples)
  • wooden toothpicks and 3 skewers
  • base - flat plate and greens
  • floral wire
  • fabric for a cap, braid, needle and thread
  • scissors for cutting toothpicks
  • eyes

Let's start with the shell. Cut the cucumbers into slices of equal thickness. Divide the toothpicks in half with scissors or a knife.

If you break the toothpicks with your hands, you will get uneven, furry edges, and they will ruin the overall picture of the shell.

We attach each circle to the cabbage base with 3 wooden “nails”. This is enough to hold the cucumber.

For the head, cut the end of the cucumber to the required length. We select it so that the head and neck are similar - round and even.

For the beauty of the craft, we decorate the place where the neck is attached to the body with a cucumber “washer”: we make a circle of cucumber, remove the middle and put the neck on the blank.

In the body we will provide a place for the neck and select some leaves from the cabbage.

When the entire shell is ready, we will attach the turtle’s head and neck here with skewers.

We make eyes, roll the wire in the form of glasses. We make a cap from a circle of fabric.

We make legs from four columns of cucumber and attach them to toothpicks. Place the turtle on a flat plate. For beauty, we cover it with red cabbage leaves. You can use any greens.

For the surroundings - tagetes flowers, and the image of the wise and sometimes even flirtatious turtle Tortilla is completed!

An excellent and long-lasting version of turtle is made from green zucchini squash.

Secrets and subtleties of creating crafts

  1. Before starting work, all vegetables must be washed, dried, and then used as material for creativity.
  2. Wooden toothpicks, skewers, and floral wire will help.
  3. It is imperative to take into account that crafts made from vegetables or fruits have a short shelf life. Soft tomatoes and juicy cucumbers, for example, quickly “leak”, and this must be taken into account when composing compositions.
  4. It is better to use “long-term” vegetables and root vegetables: potatoes, pumpkin, zucchini, cabbage, onions.
  5. Ideally, crafts should be prepared immediately before the exhibition, if time permits.
  6. It is best to place each craft on a base/stand. Otherwise, the composition will not have a logical conclusion.

YOU WILL NEED IT

Take advantage of our tips and master classes on creating a wide variety of! This is an interesting, fun and useful hobby for children and adults!

Decorating dishes is a real skill. If you need to make the table festive, then the best option would be to cut out beautiful elements from vegetables and fruits.

Decor comes from Japan

The technique of decorating dishes itself appeared in Japan and is called carving - artistic carving of vegetables. It is better to use a special Thai knife, but if you don’t have one, you can take any sharp one with a thin blade. You may also need additional materials, such as paper, paints, toothpicks, skewers, pins, beads and others. In addition to simple figures, various compositions or entire pictures are made from vegetables.

Many modern housewives want not only to prepare a delicious dish, but also to present it in its original form, decorating it with beautiful cuts, funny figures of animals, butterflies or birds, making the food a real masterpiece. Above in the photo are do-it-yourself vegetable figurines.

Beauty all year round

Summer is the time to experiment by making figurines from vegetables with your own hands. Every autumn, kindergartens and schools hold all kinds of exhibitions and competitions for the best crafts created using natural materials. Children, and with them their parents, make beautiful, original figures with their own hands. Various fruits, berries, vegetables, beautiful leaves, and mushrooms are suitable for this. Winter is full of holidays, and a beautifully decorated table is the pride of any housewife these days. In spring, you really want more sun and bright colors; colorful dishes with funny vegetable figures will fill you with vitamins and positivity.

Pros and cons of vegetable decorations

By showing your imagination, you can come up with crafts for different ages: suitable for the smallest children, works that a schoolchild can handle, and compositions performed with the help of adults. The originality of these crafts lies in the fact that they are made from an unusual material, because it is more common to consume vegetables for their intended purpose - as food. The downside is that cut-out figures from vegetables do not please the eye for long, they are not preserved and quickly lose their appearance. But they create a festive mood at the table, delighting both children and adults.

To build such figures, you will need a sharp knife, so the child must be constantly supervised by an adult while working. In most figures, you will need to connect individual parts of the product together. It is best to use simple toothpicks or matches for this. Now about the crafts themselves: how to make figurines from vegetables, from the simplest to the more difficult to make.

Octopus

Such a guest from the underwater kingdom protects the vegetables, spreading his tentacles throughout the dish. The original octopus can be used to decorate any dish. Making it couldn’t be easier, just take a large orange bell pepper and one olive. Cut off the bottom third of the pepper, remove the seeds, place the top part in the middle of the plate, cut side down. Cut the remaining third in half and cut into long strips. Arrange the straws around the peppers in a plate so that they resemble tentacles. Cut the olive into rings and use yogurt to attach two rings to the pepper. A funny and useful inhabitant of the seabed is ready!

Such an octopus can live in a plate with cottage cheese. The kid will definitely want to try it, because the plate is guarded by a sea creature.

Autumn vegetable for decoration

You can make many different crafts from pumpkins. This extremely healthy vegetable can serve as an excellent decoration for a country house, balcony or garden plot. What horror stories are not cut out of it for the annual celebration of Halloween! When illuminated from within, the laughing, toothy monsters look stunningly impressive.

But let’s try to build a kind little owlet that will please the eye and remind you of summer. To make an owlet from a pumpkin, you will need a round or oval pumpkin, several squash, a piece of eggplant and skewers for fastening. Instead of eyes, small squash are attached to the figurine; to do this, thread them on a skewer and stick them into the right place. And instead of a beak, you can attach a small triangle made of eggplant.

Penguins

These birds made from eggplants look very funny. Even a child can make such figurines from vegetables, the photo of which is given below, of course, in the presence of an adult. To create a penguin, you need to take the eggplant itself and the knife itself. To make penguin eyes, you can use beads and pins to attach them.

First, cut the vegetable into two equal parts. Each of them will be an independent penguin. Then you need two beads and attach them in place of the eyes. All that remains is to make the wings. Mark the shape of the wings on the sides of the penguin and then cut it out using a knife and move it slightly away from the body.

You can try to build another penguin, other vegetables will be useful for it. You should take olives, a few carrots and cottage cheese. Cut out the penguin's legs and nose from carrots, and build a head and wings from olives.

Cat figurine

Well, how can you not admire such a funny kitten made from an ordinary onion!

To make it, just select a suitable onion, peel it and trim the ears with a sharp knife. Since all our figures are kind, the cat must smile, revealing his sharp teeth. Squinted eyes and a smile can be prepared in advance and glued to an onion, or they can be constructed from various pieces of vegetables. And of course, the most important thing about a cat is its whiskers. They should be funny, like our cat's.

Watermelon craft

Carving shapes from vegetables is a fun and creative activity. For example, you can make a toothy shark for the holiday table and please the children with an original and delicious dessert.

To do this, you need to choose the basis of the shark - the watermelon itself. A masterfully carved mouth with huge teeth will delight any company. All that remains is to attach the eyes to the fish and throw figuratively cut pieces of vegetables and fruits into the mouth. A beautiful presentation on a platter - and you can receive praise for originality from guests.

Lamb

The figurines made from vegetables and cauliflower are very original. From it, for example, you can very easily make a rather cute little sheep.

To create it, you will also need mushrooms and simple toothpicks, with which you will need to attach the eyes. Place a lush cauliflower inflorescence on a plate, preferably in a contrasting color - this will be the body of a lamb. We cut off the cap from the mushroom (you can use pickled mushrooms) - it will be the head of the future lamb. We fix the head to the body with toothpicks. Don't forget about the ears and eyes. We cut out the ears from a mushroom, and the eyes are any small berries. We secure all parts of the body with toothpicks. This is such a funny little sheep.

Carrot rose

Decorations of this kind have always been popular when decorating holiday dishes. Although these are not the simplest vegetable figures, they look very beautiful in any dish. Elegant carrot roses are used to decorate salads and appetizers in an original way. Or place edible flowers in a glass of water, combining carrot roses with flowers from other vegetables.

To build a rose you will need: carrots, toothpicks, a sharp knife, a container of water, a sprig of herbs, salt.

Technique:

  1. To begin with, peeled medium-sized carrots should be cut into slices as thin as possible.
  2. Lightly sprinkle the future carrot petals with salt, this will give them flexibility when making a bud.
  3. Fold each petal in half.
  4. Carefully twist the first petal into a cone shape and secure it with two toothpicks - pierce it on both sides to create two perpendicular axes.
  5. Then take the next petal and place it on the ends of the toothpicks. Continue assembling the rose, planting the petals one by one. In total, 5-6 thin slices of carrots will be useful.
  6. Having collected the whole rose, trim off the protruding toothpicks.
  7. Fold the rose petals and place it in a container of water for 5 minutes.

A green sprig of mint will look very nice next to the finished rose.

Potato rose

To make it you will need one large potato.

  1. First, we give the potato a round appearance and mark the core, cutting it with a wide groove.
  2. Then, holding the knife at an angle, we make the first petals.
  3. So move towards the center, reducing the size of the petals and giving the shape of a bud.
  4. Now we cut out large petals, but quite thin. The closer to the edge, the thicker the petals become.
  5. Remove excess pulp from under the petals.
  6. When the flower is ready, cut off the excess flesh from below and correct any unevenness on the rose.

Elephants

Will a child be able to pass by a plate in which funny elephants are peacefully grazing? They are so cute, they just ask you to come closer. Making them is quite simple, cut out the ears, paws and trunk from sausages and insert them into the necessary cuts. Chop the onion and place it on clean and dry lettuce leaves on a platter. Make cuts on the sausage, put the cut vegetables into them, building an elephant. In the place where the trunk will be, make a hole with a toothpick and insert the trunk into it. Instead of elephant ears, legs and trunk, you can use cabbage and carrots. The work of making them will take very little time, but the baby will enjoy it and have a good appetite.

Figurines for children's dishes

Step-by-step lessons on making children's crafts from vegetables for kindergarten

Crafts from vegetables for kindergarten can be very different and unimaginable. The more unpredictable the accessory, the more attention will be paid to it, thereby increasing the child’s self-esteem and creating a positive attitude towards him. To ensure that homework in the form of vegetable crafts for kindergarten is completed perfectly, we recommend viewing the best options for master classes.

Ship made of zucchini

  1. We prepare a zucchini, 30-40 cm long and 7-10 cm in diameter. It needs to be rinsed under water and dried with towels.
  2. We place the zucchini on the most stable side so that its back end (with the spine) is slightly raised. If the vegetable does not want to become the way you want, then it is easy to cut it a little at the bottom to make the bottom even. With this treatment, the boat will not fall or tilt to the sides.
  3. We cut out the upper part of the zucchini so that the edges of the vegetable remain untouched by 5-7 cm. In this way, we form the nose and back of the ship closed.
  4. If, after cutting out the top part, you can reach the seeds and entrails, then you need to pull them out and completely clean the zucchini of seeds. After this procedure, it is better to dry the vegetable with paper towels.
  5. Using a knife on one side and the other in the center of the zucchini, we cut out small square windows (3 pieces each), with a width of 1-2 cm on each side. This way we will have a hole so that we can insert the “oars of the ship”.
  6. Near such windows, a vegetable anchor is cut out with a knife or a ready-made accessory (made of cardboard, carrots, zucchini skin, etc.) is attached.
  7. At the beginning and end of the ship we insert wooden skewers, 10-15 cm long. Instead of them, it is allowed to take green branches of a bush or a vine.
  8. In the center of the vegetable ship we insert similar skewers exactly vertically, this will be the basis for the sails.
  9. We prepare sails from cardboard or thick colored paper. They can be different sizes or the same, large or small, rectangular or square - all this is at the request of the child.
  10. We string the sails onto skewers, bending the cardboard slightly. In this way, “inflated” sails of a vegetable ship are obtained.
  11. Through the outer skewers and the central, highest one, we pull a thread that will imitate ropes.
  12. We insert small wooden toothpicks or sticks into the cut out windows; this will be the basis of the oars of the vegetable ship.
  13. Using plasticine, we sculpt the edges of the oars and attach them to the poles, which are already ready.
  14. You can decorate a zucchini ship with any kind of people, animals, or cartoon characters.

Eggplant penguin

  1. To make this vegetable craft for kindergarten very beautiful, you need to prepare several medium-sized eggplants with a bright purple and black coloring.
  2. We take a knife with a small tip (possibly a stationery knife) and begin work.
  3. The green caps of the eggplants do not need to be removed, these will be the caps of the penguins. But on the other hand, the root should be cut evenly so that the animals are stable.
  4. Using a knife, cut out 2 eyes from the vegetable, at a level of 1.5-2 cm from the top cap. A little lower we make a round hole for the nose.
  5. Take a small carrot, cut off 2 cm from its lower end and insert such a nose into the resulting hole for the nose.
  6. We use a knife to outline an oval on the “belly” of the vegetable penguins and peel the inside of the eggplant to the green pulp. From the skins that remain, we cut out several circles with a diameter of 1 cm and, using a toothpick, pin them in the center of the “belly”. In this way we obtained unusual buttons on the belly of animals.
  7. Using a knife, carefully make a small cut in the skin on the left and right sides of the eggplant and turn it 2-3 cm upward. This way you will get penguin wings.
  8. You can decorate the original vegetable craft with greens, autumn leaves, artificial snow or stones.

Cool faces or pumpkin men

  1. We take several small pumpkins, wash them and dry them.
  2. Using a can of spray paint, coat each pumpkin with bright orange or yellow paint. We wait until the vegetable dries.
  3. Using a black or dark brown felt-tip pen, a thin marker or a greasy pencil, draw the contours of the eyes, nose, mouth (if you want to create an unusual craft, you are allowed to add teeth, mustaches, glasses, moles, nostrils).
  4. We paint the eyes, nose, mouth with the desired colors (blue, white, red shades of felt-tip pens).
  5. Similarly, on the vegetable we draw the edges of the hair or hat and paint it in the appropriate color.
  6. We put the pumpkin men on a tray, decorate them with leaves, belts, earrings, beads, and other accessories and present them!

Original cauliflower lamb

  1. Prepare small pieces of white cauliflower, long clove flowers, hard black olives with pits, a knife, and toothpicks.
  2. We pierce each clove with a wooden skewer and insert it into the cabbage. We carry out similar actions with 3 other spices. In this way we get the legs and wool of a vegetable sheep.
  3. We take one black olive as a head and pin it to the cauliflower using a toothpick.
  4. Using a knife, cut small pieces of the olive on the sides to make ears.
  5. We do the same with the eyes. To make them look more organic, it is allowed to use grains of round rice, buckwheat or white berries. The eyes are glued on with artificial ones from old small toys.
  6. It is advisable to place the resulting vegetable lambs on green grass, moss, or create a special composition for them.

Cartoon characters Smeshariki made from potatoes and onions

  1. Prepare a bright orange onion, medium size. My potatoes are of a similar format, the color does not matter. Additionally, among the vegetables you can take beets, lemon, tomato, and small squash.
  2. To make the vegetable figures stable, one edge of the bottom should be cut off a little with a knife.
  3. We knead multi-colored plasticine in our hands and make eyes, a nose, and a mouth for each Smesharik.
  4. In order for the vegetable craft to be spectacular, the body parts of the characters should be made in the same color that is used in the body (onion with orange, beet with purple, lemon with yellow, etc.)
  5. Place the resulting vegetable Smeshariki on a beautiful tray, having previously laid out the base with grass or autumn leaves. Such a simple craft will be even more original if it is supplemented with small colorful mushrooms, berries and fruits.

How to make crocodile Gena from cucumber and Cheburashka from potatoes

  1. For such a vegetable craft, you need to take several large potatoes, cucumbers, and colored paper.
  2. Cut a ring 2 cm wide from the potato, place it across the remaining piece, and pin it with toothpicks. In this way we got the torso and head.
  3. Cut 2 potato circles, 1 cm wide for the ears, and pin them similarly to the head using toothpicks or wooden skewers.
  4. We cut off several small pieces from the potatoes for legs and arms and attach them in the same way.
  5. Using colored paper and scissors, we cut out eyes, nose, mouth, and buttons for the body for the Cheburashka. Glue them with glue to the dried potatoes.
  6. Cut the cucumber into 2 pieces in proportions of 60%, 40%. The larger piece will serve as the body, and the smaller one needs to be cut from the entire edge and inserted a small piece of a toothpick. In this way we get an open mouth; we attach it to the body with a skewer.
  7. We cut small pieces from another cucumber for legs and arms and attach them in the same way.
  8. We cut out the eyes and nose from colored paper and glue it to the finished cucumber crocodile Gene.
  9. We decorate the vegetable composition of Cheburashka and Gena the crocodile with leaves, vegetables, fruits, and other gifts of nature.

A simple craft for children - a carrot flower using the kirving technique

  1. We prepare several large carrots, wash them under running water. It is advisable for such a vegetable to be a little limp; for this it is recommended to leave it in a warm place for 2-3 days.
  2. We peel the carrots with a knife along the entire length, making vertical triangular cuts.
  3. Cut the carrots into thin slices. In this way, curly petals of the future vegetable flower are obtained.
  4. We place carrot circles on a skewer, bending them upward. The largest petals should be lowered down, and the small ones will be located at the top.

  1. We prepare a small cabbage, separate the topmost leaves from it - 2 pieces.
  2. We peel the carrots, cut them into 2 parts, and make vegetable legs from each half.
  3. We attach the cabbage to the carrots, thereby creating the basis of a hare on legs.
  4. We attach the remaining 2 cabbage leaves to the top with toothpicks, making ears.
  5. We make the eyes and nose of the vegetable hare using black olives.
  6. The mouth is allowed to be made using red bell pepper.

Very beautiful autumn composition in a basket of vegetables and fruits

Greetings, my dears! You and I fully immersed ourselves in autumn worries: we made preserves for the winter (compotes, preserves, pickles). But since September 1, new concerns have come to all homes where there are children. They are connected to a kindergarten and school. And I myself know firsthand how unexpected it is to always hear from a teacher or teacher that you need to bring autumn crafts from vegetables or fruits. Because you need to take part in an exhibition on the theme “Autumn”. And the care of moms and dads begins. They think about what they can do that is quick, beautiful and simple. Vegetables and fruits are taken from the cabinets. Each fruit undergoes careful selection, and the head of the family goes to the neighbors or simply looks for a suitable idea on the Internet. In general, you definitely won’t be bored.

I want to make this task easier for parents and have made a large selection of photographs of various ideas and crafts made from fruits. There are easier options, but there are also more complex ones. When you need to gather all your neatness to make it beautiful. But the chance of getting some kind of nomination immediately increases.

Thank you in advance to all the parents, grandparents, and brothers and sisters who share their creativity on social networks and the Internet in general. Thanks to your desire to show joint creativity on one of those sleepless nights, other parents get a lot of new ideas for their crafts.

Let's look at craft options by type of vegetable. There are a lot of ideas and often, in addition to the fruit itself, you need to take a wire, a toothpick, paper or fabric. You can create a separate character from a fairy tale, or you can create an entire composition.

Pumpkin crafts

The easiest way is to make a recognizable character from cartoons and fairy tales. And often all you need is paint. You can also print some elements on a printer and stick them on the character.

A cute minion for your attention. There are toothpicks stuck on the top of the head, and a string instead of handles.

The Mouse Family also looks very memorable. The ears are made of colored cardboard. And stuck into the pumpkin using skewers. They are sold at most hardware stores. You can use any thick paints. But, if your craft will delight children on the street. Then coat it with varnish.

The boys come in to make this ninja turtle. I think that dad will not refuse to help his son in this venture.

Simple cute faces that for some reason remind me of the Scarecrow from the fairy tale about the Emerald City.

The creators of the cartoon “Smeshariki” helped us, parents, a lot. After all, there are as many as ten round characters. They can all be made from vegetables: potatoes, pumpkin or cabbage.

In front of you is Kopatych in a hat with autumn leaves.

Another cute face with sad eyes. All additional parts can be made from plasticine or paper. You can glue them on with double-sided tape. Sunflower flowers, artificial grass and live grass are used to decorate the hat.

By the way, you can use felt for the sides of the hat, eyes and nose.

I also found this wise owl interesting. Instead of eyes, you can use small squash or heads of garlic.

In order for the fake to last longer, the pulp and seeds are removed from it.

More character options. I think that making them will take no more than an hour of parental time.

Unusual ideas of black cats, mice and hares also spark the imagination. No additional tools are needed here; you don’t even always need a knife.

These are great examples for developing children's imagination. How to look at an ordinary product and see an animal in it.

If you try a little longer, you can sculpt the Cheshire cat from Alice in Wonderland.

Now let's move away from the heroes and move on to the compositions. This is how pumpkins make very beautiful houses.

These crafts take longer to make, but you can make a fairytale hobbit hole.

And in this house live creatures made of bulbs.

For happy parents of daughters, there is an idea that does not depend on time - this is a carriage for Cinderella.

You can use absolutely anything for decoration: beads, leaves, berries and ribbons.

Another composition option is to make a basket or vase for other fruits and flowers. In autumn there are a lot of different buds: asters, dahlias, gladioli, September flowers and others. Let's make an autumn bouquet and put it in a pumpkin vase.

Use ranetki, rowan and different colors of leaves. A bouquet of red, yellow, green and orange leaves will look so beautiful.

I couldn't get past this honey lover. I think he is very similar to Winnie the Pooh.

Well, with your preschooler you can make Tortilla the turtle from the fairy tale about Pinocchio. You can also use assorted vegetables: carrots and potatoes. Moreover, they are attached in such a way that all the media are covered, which means that the darkened pulp will not be visible and the craft will remain bright and beautiful for a long time.

You can also make a duck. Sometimes the very shape of a vegetable reminds us of something. The main thing is to understand what exactly))

Look, nature did everything for us. The main thing is to give the right features and in front of you is a beautiful goose with beads made from rowan berries.

Ideas from zucchini

You can combine vegetables. Let's say take a zucchini and a small pumpkin. And from these vegetables, the parents were able to come up with snails like these.

You make a shape, and let the child decorate the “shell”, make horns and eyes. So, there is a job for everyone.

How about such a simple but very interesting pig?

Or here's Daddy Pig. The main thing is that he stays on his short legs.

Another version of a pig with ears and a tail made of paper. And instead of a spout they attached half a Kinder egg.

I found a couple of ideas for zucchini whales. Look how simple it is and without unnecessary details. The fins and tail are made from pea pods, and instead of a water fountain, you can attach a stem of parsley or dill.

Or you can cut it all out of cardboard, as the authors of this kitten did.

There are ideas for airplanes and ships for boys. By the way, a similar airplane can be made from a cucumber.

And seat the crocodile Gena in the pilot’s seat. This craft surprised me a little with its red beet star. Oh, and these parents are inventors!

Here Gena is made from zucchini, not cucumber. And next to it is a pumpkin Cheburashka and a squash tree. And tangerines complete the plot. How can we do without them if we recreate a fairy tale?

How do you like the ship? I think that the child will not want to take it to kindergarten, but will start playing corsairs at home. Cabbage sails always catch the wind, and a carrot rudder never goes astray.

Another idea with Smeshariki, who went on a journey in zucchini cars.

You can send such a donkey to the exhibition. He is carrying a full basket of autumn fruits.

My daughter loves the resilient snowman Olaf. Apparently, he won the hearts of many girls, since his parents sculpt him from a zucchini. And how similar it is to the original is just a sight for sore eyes.

Previously, we made a penguin for kindergarten. But you can repeat it from vegetables.

You can make simple things that will look like fairy tales. For example, these shoes or sandals.

Oh, and here the mother clearly tried and reproduced those happy days when her baby was still sleeping in his crib.

Idea with a bunch of cabbage. With the right approach, the result was a duck.

Now let's move on to the blue ones, from which you can make all the ideas that were shown above.

Eggplant ideas

The color of eggplant immediately gives a certain direction to the imagination. And I came across a lot of options for whales and penguins from this vegetable.

Look how similar it is to real birds. They just correctly conveyed the habits of these creatures.

Eggplant and potato friends.

Another idea for a little penguin from the cartoon “Madagascar”. The same fearless gaze and defiance of fate.

If you master the art of carving (vegetable carving), then you can safely sculpt such a zebra. An important condition here will be the presence of special tools that easily cut the skin and have narrow, sharp blades.

The King Whale is swimming in the sea. And your baby will really like it.

Is it difficult for you to make a poodle? With a bell pepper bow and a cauliflower face.

Another simple craft for kindergarten or elementary school in the form of a helicopter. The propeller is made of carrots and is held in place by toothpicks.

Let's move on to the next vegetables.

Several variations of carrots

Carrots are often used to make parts for other crafts. But it can itself present interesting forms. How do you like a giraffe with matchstick horns? Very cute.

Or a horse with an onion-like mane. All parts are held on with toothpicks.

Another unusual idea in the form of a goldfish.

From cabbage

You can make cute rabbits or a baby elephant from white cabbage. Beetroot is suitable for the head.

Here is another cute little animal from two heads of cabbage.

The bouncing bunny with cucumber ears will definitely captivate the teacher with her sweet smile. Only it will be a little heavy for a child, after all, two heads of cabbage.

Here's another little rabbit with potato legs. The nose is made from a tomato, and the eyes are made from boiled eggs. They can be replaced with an onion.

Cute ideas for poodles made from cauliflower sprigs.

The inflorescences themselves are very reminiscent of lamb's wool. So let's reproduce it.

Here is a sheep standing in a green clearing.

The muzzle can be made from potatoes, peppers or carrots.

Even champignon mushrooms can serve as a face for a cute animal.

It’s a pity that we already ate all our cauliflower after cooking it.

From corn

An ear of corn costs 20 rubles in September. I think it could make a very inexpensive craft. What can you do? Well, for example, a rocket.

Or a horse that grazes on a bow.

Dear bunny. I apologize for the quality of the photo, but I really liked the idea.

What do you think of minions in denim sundresses? I think it turned out very funny.

And such an animal? He looks a lot like a squirrel.

You just need to make sure that the corn is fresh, otherwise the grains may fall out and the craft will not be so neat.

From potatoes

Piglets made from tubers and plasticine are very similar to real pigs.

And even if you don’t have time at all, you do have a healthy sense of humor. Make a family like this. After all, the main thing is the idea and presentation, it is the freshness and unusualness of the craft that fascinates.

The bizarre shapes of the tubers can be very reminiscent of some kind of animal. For example, if you combine two potatoes, you can get a dog like this.

Or a heroic horse.

I also found this funny hippopotamus.

From cucumbers

A little higher we saw a crocodile made from a cucumber, but you can also make a shark.

Continuing the marine theme, I will show you a beautiful killer whale.

Or funny frog princesses.

Well, the cucumber turtle in glasses and a cap will definitely captivate everyone. She will definitely sing now: “Three hundred years ago...”

Crafts from onions and other vegetables

Now I’ll show you many more options for interesting crafts. They are made from onions, peppers, and sunflower seeds.

Look how funny Luntik turns out.

If you have chestnuts growing, then you can safely make a hedgehog with them.

You can also make a beautiful hedgehog from squash and toothpicks.

How do you like the needles on the animal’s back in the shape of a sunflower?

Or like this.

Funny parrot made from bell pepper.

Bell peppers make beautiful tulips.

When there are only chestnuts at hand, see how you can beat them. The result is an oak tree made from autumn leaves, with “acorns” lying at the roots.

Olive and pepper palms will also win many hearts at the exhibition.

The grandfather of chestnuts and cones is very similar to a goblin.

A plot from the fairy tale about Cipollino with Countess Cherry.

I also liked the set of different vegetables. Quite fast, but very interesting and varied.

The eyes are cut out of paper.

There are also a lot of ideas here.

Topiary, magic mugs

I wrote how to make topiary. You can also take this idea as a basis and make it from garlic and hot pepper.

Or chestnuts and rowan berries.

By the way, such crafts can not only be sent to an exhibition, but also left for home decor.

Another idea with a magic bowl. The photographs show artificial fruits, but fresh analogues can also be used.

Agree, such a craft deserves attention.

Queens of autumn

I think that when you have very little time, you can take an ordinary doll as a basis and decorate it with an autumn theme. Add berries and leaves, fruits and flowers.

Make a whole composition. After all, the doll will personify Autumn itself.

Fun idea for queens with leaf crowns and watermelon dresses.

Now let’s get close to small fruit crafts.

Beautiful and quick DIY crafts made from fruits

Fruits are most often small in size, with the exception of melon and watermelon. This is where we will start our delicious selection.

Minions are very easy to make, so they are sculpted from different types of vegetables and even watermelon.

The melon bunny is also very cute.

Sweet boat.

A lot of interesting ideas can be found from apples. It is dense and holds its shape well. But its flesh quickly darkens. To prevent this from happening, the craft can be lowered into a solution of citric acid.

The family of caterpillars looks very decent.

Funny little frog. What if we made a whole pond with them.

More ladybug ideas.

Funny elephant made from an apple.

From half an apple and a banana, craftsmen came up with such a phone.

Seasonal apples united into a wise caterpillar.

Apple peel snake idea.

Yes, another cute caterpillar with carrot legs.

What can be made from a banana? I liked the idea with dolphins.

Or another handsome guy like this.

Original lop-eared dachshund puppy. Maybe he will inspire someone to repeat this idea.

Make funny parrots out of pears.

Or hedgehogs.

Here is a detailed master class on how to create them. You will need the pear itself, toothpicks, grapes of any color and clove inflorescences.

You can make a panel from pumpkin and sunflower seeds. Why not an autumn craft?

The lemon fish turned out very bright.

Well, the kiwi koala just captivated me. Kiwi needs to be firm and sour. Otherwise, all the pulp will leak out.

My dears, but that’s not all. Indeed, one can simply envy the parents’ fantasies.

Master class on lemon mice for kindergarten

For small children it is difficult to come up with compositions with a lot of decorations and details. I would like to invite you to make a little yellow mouse out of a lemon with your baby.

Only mom works with sharp objects. And even a three-year-old child can insert parts into the slots.

We will need:

  • lemon,
  • 2 clove inflorescences,
  • wire or thick thread.

First, cut a quarter of the lemon lengthwise. This is how we made the base so that the mouse’s body would not fall. We cut off the zest from a small part so that we have enough for small ears and a tail.

From one edge of the lemon, where we have a sharp tip, we stick a clove. She acts as our eyes.

We make a slit in the peel and insert the ears. Attach the tail to the body with a toothpick.

The antennae can be made with wire by simply piercing the muzzle right through. Or you can make them from thread by stitching the fruit with a needle.

That's the whole craft. Fast and interesting.

Video on making crafts from vegetables

For joint creativity, I selected two videos. See how a cucumber crocodile is made.

And cute potato sheep.

I thank you for your attention. And I will be glad if you find the right solution here and save your time.
